Johann Gutenberg topped the list in A&E's recent broadcast of "Biography of the Millennium: 100 People, 1,000 Years"--a countdown of the 100 most influential people of the last 1,000 years.
The four-hour, world-premiere special was broadcast on Oct. 10 and 11.
To create this landmark program, A&E started with a list of 250 historic figures and asked more than 360 panelists--including political leaders, scientists, journalists, and artists--to cast their votes for the 100 people they believed have made the biggest impact on our civilization.
