PROJECT OVERVIEW:
U.S.-based TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC. (TI) currently operates 2 electronics plants in Mexico. And, the company recently announced that it was gearing-up to build its third factory. According to local industry sources, TI is planning to construct its new facility in the town of Aguascalientes. In so doing, the American company is proposing to make the site its largest manufacturing base outside of the U.S.
