Euclid Hitachi Heavy Equipment Inc has launched the R260 and R130B haul trucks for mining applications. The trucks are designed to match high capacity excavators. The R260 model has a 262 ton capacity and is powered by the new MTU/Detroit Diesel series 4000 diesel engine with a rating of 2500 hp at 1900 rpm. The R130B has a 145.5 ton capacity and is powered by a Cummins KTTA38-C diesel engine with a rating of 1350 hp at 2100 rpm.
