Oct. 22 -- GOSHEN, Ind. -- The top executive of Goshen Rubber Cos. Inc. said Thursday the sale of the company would not adversely impact employment.

Goshen Rubber announced Thursday it has reached an agreement to sell all of its stock to Wynn's International Inc. of Orange, Calif.

The company, which employs some 1,500 people in six plants in Goshen, is one of the community's largest employers.

It has been in Goshen since 1916 and employs a total of 2,400 people in 22 locations.
