An MBTA Red Line train guard yesterday rescued a teenager who was being beaten and stabbed with a screwdriver by six other youths on a moving train, T Police said.
"If I wasn't there, I think this kid would have been worse off than he was," said Leroy Jenkins, who has worked as a train guard for the past 12 years.
MBTA Police Lt. William Fleming said Jenkins "did a great job" fighting off the group of teenagers who had ganged up on a single male teen.
