These are the times - the days and weeks of late winter - that try men's and women's souls. It may help to remember that in less than three months, the tulips will be in bloom in Holland. It may also help to plan on being there, on a bicycle.
Holland has windmills, canals, tulips, thatched-roof farmhouses and a few people who still wear wooden shoes. Holland also has bike paths that offer a fine perspective on this distinctive country.
