Music and memory in Natalia Ginzburg's 'Lessico Famigliare'.

Natalia Ginzburg's 'Lessico famigliare' is thought to be Ginzburg's best narrative work, however, it is only recently that analysis of the text has emerged. Clara Borrelli's analysis of the work suggests that the text is primarily lyrical and musical; while Giuliana Minghelli attempts to categorise the novel by genre; and finally Judith Woolf examines the influence of Proust in an introduction to a translation of 'Lessico famigliare'.
