Frank N. Gambale of Boston, a financial manager for the federal government, died Wednesday at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital East. He was 92.

Born in Boston, Mr. Gambale was a lifelong Boston resident.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Gambale graduated from Boston College Law School in 1938.

He was employed by the federal government at the Boston Army Base as a financial manager for 44 years.
