An unsolicited decree by the Chinese Government that red wine is good for one's health could not have come at a better time for the largest distributor of Australian wine in China.
Aussino International Foods & Wine -- which is the exclusive agent for McWilliams, Taylors, Taltarni and De Bortolli wines -- has spent almost three years trying to get China's alcohol drinkers to appreciate a good Australian red.
Aussino's vice-general manager Mr Ken Shen said the wine market holds enormous long-term potential.
