Ongoing development plans and a food crisis affecting about 800,000 families in central and southern Mindanao represent a significant business opportunity for the Northern Territory.

Led by the Department of Asian Relations, Trade and Industry, Darwin has been courting expanded business ties with the Philippines.

The provision of goods and services - particularly food products - to the Philippines is being pursued by the NT Government.
