Englewood to form enterprise zone.(Englewood, New Jersey)

Englewood, NJ officials have announced plans to develop an innovative city office enterprise zone between I-95 and Route 4, which will significantly increase tax ratables and reduce homeowners' share of property taxes by at least 10 percent.

This would be the first locally designated zone of this type in New Jersey.

Speaking at a City Hall press conference, officials said the city will designate a 150-acre site as the Englewood Office Enterprise Zone and seek both federal and state approval and funds to build new exits leading from 1-95 and Route 4 directly into the area. ...
