Jun. 8 -- Some homeowners at Lake Murray are seeking to stop seaplanes from using the waterway as a runway.

There are too many homes now at the lake for seaplanes to come and go safely, say residents in the Timberlake subdivisions south of Chapin.

Those neighborhoods are near the site of a seaplane crash May 30, the second in 15 months at the lake.
