SMAK Settles Down in Ghent.

After more than two decades of itinerant existence in temporary spaces around Ghent, Belgium, the collection of the Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst (Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art) has finally acquired a permanent home. On May 9, the museum, which goes by the acronym SMAK, opened its doors at the Casino, a renovated public ballroom and social center near Ghent's Museum of Fine Arts.
