NEW YORK -- Though print cloth mills have experienced better business of late, they said producers of filament yarn are jumping the gun on newly increased quotations.

Weavers of textured-fill print cloths pointed out this week that the present buying has not been across the board and that in spite of recent hikes in gray goods quotations, prices are still well below cost. And there is no indication at this time that this buying will be maintained, they declared.
