Scientists have spent years studying what attracts the corn earthworm so they can create a lethal substitute for it and save corn farmers from the estimated $2 worth of damage. Researchers from the ARS Areawide Pest Management Research Unit at College Station, Texas also try to detect moth migration with radar.
