May 17 -- MORONI, Utah -- Turkeys are big business in and around this tiny central Utah town, where 65 farms raise lumbering white birds that end up on dinner tables and in delis across the West.

The farmers in this picturesque valley operate under one umbrella --Moroni Feed Co. With its feed mill, hatchery, processing plant, administrative offices -- even an automobile service center and convenience store featuring turkey sandwiches -- the cooperative dominates this city of 1,180.

And it is about to get bigger.
