New York's Solomon R. Guggenhelm Museum has announced that after several months of renovations, its SoHo branch at 575 Broadway will reopen on May 12 with an exhibition of 60 of Andy Warhol's late paintings based on Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper. These largescale works will be on view for an unspecified period of time, at least until the fall. Produced by the artist in 1986-87, just before his death, the Warhols are being loaned by two collectors, Heiner Friedrich and Peter Brant. ...
