The issue of the future prospects of faith is one which Catholics need to have the courage to address. Faith is a primal force and a dynamic element in human life rather than an attitude, ideology or set of opinions. In essence, faith keeps people alive and is a preservation of promise. It involves looking forward to the future rather than looking back at the past. Whether or not faith has a future relies strongly on the manner in which individuals perceive their respective future.
