Fitch IBCA, the international rating agency, has assigned a Short-term rating of 'F1+' to the USD 300 mln Commercial Paper Notes of Banco Rio de la Plata. The rating is based on the guarantee provided by Barclays Bank PLC, Miami Agency, through a Letter of Credit, for the obligations of Banco Rio de la Plata.
