That there's a storm brewing in the printing world--traditional offset vs. digital printing--is hardly news. Already the winds of change have shaken the industry, and more innovations are on the horizon. In the world of fine art printmaking, however, the winds are calmer. Whether they are creating 1,000 lithographs for a museum or a single giclee, printers have discovered that offset lithography and digital printing each occupy a secure niche in the fine art printing world.
