With a freshly designed corporate logo, a million-dollar print ad campaign, and four new divisions, Stone Mountain Accessories expects to create a buzz this spring. The 40-year-old Manhattan company is out to tell the world that it's no longer a sleepy handbag manufacturer.

``We never felt we were in the big time, but 1998 seemed like a breakthrough year,'' says President Kenneth Orr. ``We've internally turned the company inside out, examined it and turned it right side up.''
