Moses ben Maimon made significant contributions to both Judaic and Christian thought. His admonition to pursue the truth was intertwined with his search for the divine, and he used this premise to establish comparisons of Judaism and Christianity. Maimon believed that the two religions worshiped the same God, and did not consider Christianity to be a form of idolatry.
