When Benny Goodman and others played a 1938 concert at Carnegie Hall, the swing age began. The performance was recorded and has been released on CD, allowing future fans to hear the seminal event. Goodman had a strong band and the recordings have many highlights, especially the recording "Sing, Sing, Sing."
