PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya, is currently considered to be quite busy. As a result the airport, which mainly handles internal general aviation flights, is to undergo a major upgrade. The planned works will reportedly include the construction of: - A new terminal building and apron; - A new control tower; - A fire station; - Taxiway and road access improvements.

Work on this project is tentatively scheduled to begin some time in 1999.
