BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 1999--Tangent Computer today announced it will offer a line of desktop PCs and servers based on Intel's new Pentium III (Katmai) processors with clock speeds running at 450MHz and 500MHz.

Tangent desktop PCs that will support the new Intel Pentium III CPU when it ships in Q1 '99 include the Medallion and MediaGem.

Tangent Computer's line of Xeon-based servers -- ProServ 900/1200/1500 -- will support Intel's Pentium III Xeon processor brand, which has been designed to seamlessly deliver higher performance for ...
