Renault wants 10 percent of the vehicle market in South America's Mercosur trade bloc by the year 2005, company chairman and chief executive Louis Schweitzer said.
"Renault's strategy in Mercosur is to conquer a market share of 10 percent, with 300,000 vehicles sold," Schweitzer told a news conference at the inauguration of Renault's first plant in Brazil.
