READING, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 1998--Carpenter Technology Corp. (NYSE:CRS) announced Monday that it has completed the sale of Electrodynamics Inc., a Chicago-area company that is a leading manufacturer of electronic systems and components for defense, government and commercial customers, to L-3 Communications.
The purchase price was not disclosed, although Carpenter said the proceeds were in line with the estimates received previously from investment banker Credit Suisse First Boston.
Electrodynamics was part of Talley Industries, a conglomerate ...
