Democracy, ethnic relationships and global market forces in developing countries interact in ways that have not been sufficiently studied. Ethnic minorities typically dominate economics in developing countries, but democratization poses a threat to minority power. Chances exist that minority rule will be eliminated, market economies will be rejected or democracy will be rejected and policies should be developed in light of such possible consequences.
