IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1998--Magic Software Enterprises (Nasdaq:MGICF), Monday announced a new strategy to become the premier productivity solutions provider in the AS/400 market.

The new strategy includes a third version of its Magic/400 software, due to be released by the end of this year, as well as the development of new strategic partnerships, the formalization of dedicated AS/400 product R&D and support teams, and the launch of a broader AS/400 business plan characterized as "under construction."
