PEACE CORPS TO BE HONORED
PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The 120,000 past and present Peace Corps volunteers are the recipients of the 1987 Beyond War Award. The Peace Corps is being honored for its continuing effort to seek peace through humanitarian service and to promote mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and developing nations.
