Balmain distribution rights go to Colonia

NEW YORK -- Colonia, Inc., has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the Parfums Balmain fragrances, Lawrence Pesin, Colonia president, said Friday.

Jean Patou had distributed the fragrances in the U.S. for the past two years, but Zanimob, which owns the Balmain fragrances, ended that arrangement in July, saying it was dissatisfied with the way the brands were handled.
