Papillon taking flight with expansion
NEW YORK -- Papillon, a better-price daywear and sleepwear manufacturer focusing on luxury intimate apparel looks geared to a savvy, contemporary audience, is experiencing healthy increases.
Helped by its two-and-a-half-year-old entry into the children's marekt, sales are expected to reach $5 million this year, up from $4 million in 1986, and its production facilities are being expanded with the addition of an $18,000- square-foot plant.
