TENDER OFFER FOR DIAMOND-BATHURST SHARES EXTENDED

TAMPA, Fla., July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Anchor Glass Container Corporation (NYSE: ANC) and its wholly owned subsidiary Anchor Acquisition Corp. announced that Anchor Acquisition Corp. has extended to 5 p.m., New York City time on Thursday, Aug. 6, 1987, its offer to purchase all outstanding shares of common stock of Diamond-Bathurst Inc.
