Twinsburg-based North Coast Energy Inc. has enhanced its position as a natural gas marketer in the Midwest by purchasing Kelt Ohio Inc., based in Cambridge, Ohio.
The $16 million acquisition of Kelt's assets includes about 900 natural gas wells and an estimated 40 billion cubic feet of natural gas reserves. In addition, the deal brings to North Coast a large inventory of oil field service equipment and supplies.
