Quaker State Oil Refining Corp. to sponsor Indy Car World Series at Pocono International Raceway.

INDIANAPOLIS, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Quaker State Oil Refining Corp. (NYSE: KSF) today announced sponsorship of the 500-mile Indy car race on Aug. 16 at Pocono International Raceway, the third and final jewel in auto racing's Triple Crown.

The Quaker State 500 is the 10th event on the 1987 CART/PPG Indy Car World Series 15-race schedule and one of three 500-mile races that make up CART's Triple Crown series, including the Indianapolis 500 on May 24 and Marlboro 500 at Michigan International Speedway on Aug. 2.
