Better known to most Koreans as the nation's largest paper maker, Hansol Forem is also a major force in the MDF and particleboard markets, with one of the biggest ContiRoll presses in the world
The first thing that strikes you on approaching Hansol's Iksan MDF plant is the buildings themselves. They are, unusually, built from a combination of concrete frames and red brick walls, which are a striking feature of the flat landscape of the industrial estate on which Hansol Forem Co Ltd is located.
