Saudi Aramco Is To Have LPG Marketing Ventures In Asia, Starting With India
|
Saudi Aramco, the world's biggest producer and exporter of LPG, is studying proposals to set up joint ventures in Asia to market butane and propane. APS learns that one JV is under negotiation in India between the Saudi state firm and a group of Indian companies.
This will include building a new LPG terminal on the west coast of India, together with a major storage depot and distribution facilities in several Indian states. The exact location and capacity of the terminal and the final composition of Indian companies taking part in the venture are yet to be decided.
