Cinnabar Lane's Leonardi Pleads Guilty to Fraud Rap
The owner of Cinnabar Lane Ltd., a women's sportswear manufacturer, pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to charges involving a scheme to defraud ILGWU workers of over $545,000 in benefit payments.
Armand Leonardi, 57, had been charged with conspiracy and false reporting in a concealment of more than $3.6 million in payments to sewing contractors from 1982 to 1985.
