Wessex Corp. announces acquisition of Physicians Care Center.

FRANKLIN, Tenn., Jan. 5/PRNewswire/ -- Wessex Corporation (NASDAQ: WSSX) announced today the acquisition of Physicians Care Center, a 105-bed nursing home located in Gadsden, Ala.

The announcement was made by Twyman L. Towery, President of Wessex Care Corp., the long-term care division of Wessex Corp. Towery said, "Physicains Care Center is an attractive acquisition due to its 98 percent occupancy rate and 35 percent private pay occupancy.
