Summary: At its meeting on July 17 and 18, the European Parliament's Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Consumer Protection adopted reports by Karl-Heinz Florenz on natural mineral waters, Giacomo Leopardi's on foodstuffs for particular uses and David Bowe on the use of vertebrate animals for experimentation. These reports will be examined one of the European Parliament's forthcoming plenary sessions.
