OTC launch demands creative yet serious treatment of packaging

Over the past few years the pharmaceutical market has seen an influx of prescriptive vaginal cremes surface as newly approved over-the-counter products. The industry finds itself not only having to fight for the attention of the consumer, but to do it tastefully and sensitively. The white carton with blue stripes is not enough anymore to compete effectively. Realizing this to be true, Pfizer Canada needed a packaging solution to launch GyneCure, its over-the-counter version of the prescription-only formula Gyno-Trosyd.
