1995 sales look promising for AET
|
The first four months of 1995 are showing substantially increased business for Airport Equipment Technology (AET), with sales up 25% on the same period in 1994. The export content of AET's business has grown from 51% of sales to 61%, partly because of AET's focus on international marketing, and partly because the French market is depressed with reduced captial spending from Air France and Air Inter as they undergo re-structuring programmes.
Overall, about 48% of all of AET parent Teleflex Lionel Dupont's business is in airport-related fields.
