Mitsui Toatsu to double LCD material output

Japanese firm Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals Inc plans to raise annual sales of 12 types of materials for liquid crystal displays (LCD) from the current level of several billion yen to YEN10 billion. The materials will include products such as liquid crystal seals and large area polarizing films. Mitsui Toatsu is currently the top supplier of epoxy resin LCD sealants with 70% of the market and is currently developing products for low-temperature applications.
