For 1994, Indonesia has planned to purchase 10 Boeing 737-200's from Lufthansa. In February, two of these airplanes arrived for operations by PT Bouraq Indonesia Airlines. Another three are scheduled to arrive in April, one for operations by PT Bouraq Indonesia Airlines and the other two for operations by PT Mandala Airlines. The last of the ten airplanes is scheduled to arrive in October, and it will be operated by PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines.
