The recoverable reserves of natural gas of the 10 members of the Organisation of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) rose by 12 percent in 1992. Most of the increase occurred in Qatar, Algeria and Iraq, according to a new report by the Cairo-based OAPEC Secretariat.
The reserves of the organisation's 10 members stood at around 28 trillion cubic metres (933.3 TCF) at the end of 1992, compared with around 25 trillion cubic metres (833.3 TCF) at the end of 1991. The incr...
