FAO Schwarz To Open Shops At B. Altman

F.A.O. Schwarz, the upscale toy store, will open shops in B. Altman & Co.'s New York flagship store and in the retailer's five regional units Oct. 10.

Altman's is the first major New York department store to operate an F.A.O. Schwarz shop in the toy store's 124-year history.

Called F.A.O. Schwartz at Altman's, the shop will be located on the flagship's eighth floor and will occupy 6,580 square feet. The shop will also be in Altman's five branches in White Plains and Manhasset, N.Y.; Short Hills and Paramus, N.J.; and St. ...
