NEW YORK, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Parks and Recreation Commissioner Henry J. Stern will join Manhattan Borough President David N. Dinkins, Indian Consul General P.A. Nazreth, civil rights leader Bayard Rustin, community leaders and friends of Parks to unveil a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Union Square Park in Manhattan on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
