Lease financing concentrated in Java

The leasing industry in Indonesia remains concentrated in Java, which constitutes the country's economic and industrial center. The leasing business outside Java is still limited and found in certain regions, including Sumatera and Kalimantan.

The value of leasing contracts in Java accounts for over 85% of the total value of leasing contracts in Indonesia. In 1990, it even reached 91%.
