Clandestine to launch in Europe
The Guy Laroche division of L'Oreal SA will spend more money on the September launch of its third women's fragrance, Clandestine; in Europe than it has ever spent on a scent, according to Gerard Guyot-Jeannin, president of the prestige collections division of L'Oreal.
From mid-September through Christmas, the company will spend $10 million introducing Clandestine in 5,000 doors, less than half the distribution of other Guy Laroche brands, he noted.
