Warning Label on Bubble Baths

Labels on children's bubble bath products will have to warn about the risk of irritation to the skin and urinary tract from prolonged exposure or excessive use, according to a recently published FDA regulation.

The regulation, which will go into effect June 5, 1987, applies to "foaming detergent bath products' intended for use by children. Products for use solely by adults are not included. According to the regulation, published in the June 5, 1986, Federal Register, the children's bubble bath…
